Repair Café

The Repair Café is an organised meeting where visitors can bring broken items from home and repair them with the help of volunteers.

Time and again, products end up in the bin that only have minor defects and could be repaired with relatively little effort. In many cases, repairs are not considered because the costs are too high or, according to manufacturers, are not possible. The Repair Café repair event counterbalances the wear and tear and throwaway practices of manufacturers.

Repairs are free of charge. Tools can be used free of charge.

Our services are financed exclusively by voluntary donations. Your voluntary contribution after a successful repair will help us to continue these events in the future.

You can pass any waiting time in the Kunsthaus bistro with coffee and cake.
